Top 10 best Destinations in Brazil – places to travel on 2019

What are the best destinations in Brazil? To identify which places to travel most sought among Brazilians, and also present some travel tips for those who are researching a next destination, we set up this list with some indications for 2019.

Our list is also based on others disclosed by the market, such as the Travelers ' Choice, released on the TripAdvisor website, the best of travel and Tourism award, the choices of the jury gathered by the Folha de São Paulo or the research of the Dream destinations held by IBOPE For Skyscanner.

But our list is also based on the preference of our readers. What were the destinations of Brazil most accessed here on the blog? What places to travel most wanted on the internet?

Stay tuned to the best destinations in Brazil for 2019. Did you know them all? It is the tip of these amazing places, some classics of Brazilian tourism, while others have grown increasingly in the preference of travelers.

And be sure to comment at the end of this post what is your preference among the best destinations in Brazil.

1 – São Miguel dos Milagres and the north coast of Alagoas

São Miguel dos Milagres also has natural pools, quieter and cheaper than in Maragogi

Although Maceió is the capital of the state, from where it is possible to make several tours along the coast of Alagoas, our tip is to seek a quieter destination.

Maragogi is even more famous and one of the most sought-after travel places in Alagoas. It is one of the destinations that enters several lists of the best in Brazil and also nicknamed the Brazilian Caribbean. But as you may imagine, Maragogi is still not your answer to a quieter and more reserved destination.

The north coast of Alagoas reserves some paradiseacal beaches, on the way between Maceió and Maragogi. The road is known as the ecological route. Japaratinga and São Miguel dos Milagres are two of the highest destinations in this region. Japaratinga is next to Maragogi (about 20 minutes by car) and also has natural pools and beautiful beaches. The advantage is that some of them are deserted.

But if your idea of perfect travel is associated with even more privacy, São Miguel dos Milagres is the best option. Local tourism has bet on charming inns and foot in the sand, ideal for couples.

But don't expect charm outside the inns. São Miguel dos Milagres is the most rustic of the cities of the north coast of Alagoas and the villages are very simple. Even so, there is a good offer of restaurants such as the No Quintal (book in advance), the Bistrô Buddha and the Gourmet Manzuá.
  • Positives: The beaches have calm and warm waters, that way everyone dreams. For this reason, the region is known as the Brazilian Caribbean.
  • Negative points: It is important to visit the region at the time of low tide. At high tide, much of the charm of the beaches and its natural pools is impaired.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: the best option is to rent a car, since there is no public transport option in some destinations in the region.
  • Where to stay: There are several options of charming inns in São Miguel dos Milagres. Take a peek also at Pousada do Alto in Japaratinga. The infinity pool is unforgettable.
  • Best season: October, November, December and January are the best months. Summer is when the sea is more crystalline and there is less likelihood of rain. The months of April to August are usually the rainest ones there.
  • How many days: 7 days is the ideal time to explore the region. Choose one or two bases on the north coast, such as São Miguel dos Milagres, Japaratinga, Porto de Pedras or Maragogi.
  • How much does it cost: R $350,00/day per person. The demand for the north coast of Alagoas has grown much, which can greatly accommodate the lodgings. São Miguel dos Milagres is where you can find more expensive prices. Japaratinga and Maragogi have cheaper options (average expenses of R $250.00/day per person).

2 – Jericoacoara (Jijoca de Jericoacoara), Ceará

With the opening of a local airport, Jericoacoara grows firm and strong as one of the best destinations in Brazil
Since the first time I visited Jericoacoara, in 1997, until the last time in 2018, this paradisiacal place has changed a lot. Luckily, it is still part of the National Park of Jericoacoara, which guarantees the famous streets of sand where they can not circulate cars (only circulate the buggy rides).

Jeri (for the intimate or for those who have difficulty to pronounce the long name) has already been considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. In the TripAdvisor list, she comes up in the ranking between places to travel. In 2015, he was in seventh position, in 2016 he jumped to the bronze medal and in 2018 he remained in the Top 10 in the fourth position.

The Fame (and also the flow of visitors) increased after it was opened the Regional Airport Commander Ariston Pessoa, in Cruz, a city that is much closer to Jericoacoara. In this way, the distance of 4 hours from Fortaleza decreased to just over 1 hour of travel.

The Dune of the sunset, one of the most famous sights of Jericoacoara, lives crowded. Now to take a picture of the stone hole, you may have to face a 20-minute line. But how not to love the incredible landscapes and vibe of Jeri? And everyone deserves a little relaxation in the hammocks of the Paradise Lagoon.
  • Positive points: Within a national park, the region is still preserved and maintains rustic aspects, such as sand streets and few constructions. For now, it is still guaranteed that those who visit Jeri find a paradisiacal destination.
  • Negative points: The difficulty of access is an obstacle. Jeri is surrounded by sand, so to arrive only by gardener or with 4 × 4 vehicles. Those who venture to go with touring cars, must leave them in parking lots at the entrance of the village.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: For those who come from Fortaleza, the most comfortable option is to book a transfer from Jericoacoara. Jeri Off Road is one of the companies that operate this roadmap. Flights to Jericoacoara Airport are still expensive, so it is still not a very affordable option.
  • Where to stay: Despite its sandy streets within the national Park, Jericoacoara has many lodging options. See our post with the tips of best hostels in Jericoacoara.
  • Best season: July, August and September are months after the rainy season, in which the ponds will be fuller. The first semester is the rainy season, but from May the rains begin to decline. For those who like Kitesurfers, the second semester is the pinnacle of the sport season there.
  • How many days: 4 days are enough to know the region. If you have more time, you can reconcile this trip with Lençóis Maranhenses, making the route of emotions. Or visit some other destinations of the West coast of Ceará, such as Icaraizinho de Cramada or Flecheiras.
  • How much does it cost: The average is R $350,00/day per person. With the number of visitors ever increasing, the prices of inns have inflated a little, but it is still possible to find some findings. The tours cost on average R $75.00 per person.

3 – Porto de Galinhas, Ipojuca

The Muro Alto beach, with a huge natural pool, is the first stop of the buggy ride in Porto de Galinhas
For those who ask us for a travel tip in the Northeast, we always end up being a little repetitive: Porto de Galinhas is the answer. The destination is also one of the most popular among Brazilians: in the amount of searches on Google, Porto de Galinhas is one of the places to travel that is always on top.

Porto de Galinhas is located in the municipality of Ipojuca, Pernambuco. It combines easy access, good infrastructure of hotels and restaurants, with paradiduacal beaches (Muro Alto, Maracaípe and the neighboring Praia dos Carneiros are the highlights). Inclusive is a great destination for families with children, on account of the super tranquil sea on some of these beaches.

The great attraction is the famous natural pools of Porto de Galinhas. A raft ride to them is an unmissable program. Be sure to hire a photographer and do a little fish rehearsal. It's super worth it and it costs less than you think. For the most economical, you can even walk to the pools.

For these and others, it was no wonder that Porto de Galinhas jumped from the eighth position in 2015, to the TOP 5 of the TripAdvisor's Travelers ' Choice ranking in 2018. On Skyscanner's list of dream destinations, he was in third position.
  • Positive points: The hospitality and gastronomy of Porto de Galinhas has grown a lot in recent years and provides visitors with a good combination of infrastructure and natural beauties. From luxury hotels to budget inns, there are options for all tastes.
  • Negative points: the excess of tourists bothers a little on the beaches (especially the beach of the center), so if you can avoid the high season. See also the Tide board: The natural pools are only cool at low tide.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: Porto de Galinhas is about 1 hours away from Recife. Going by car is one of the best options, but there are several public and alternative transport options from the airport. Who prefers a little more convenience, recommend closing a transfer with the sun and sea Tour via WhatsApp (81) 99922-7721. Don't forget to mention that you are a cinematographic travel reader.
  • Where to stay: There are many options for simple guesthouses to luxury hotels. For those seeking to save, the tip is to find something in the center, like the Pousada Portomares. For those who want more luxury or leisure structure, bet on the resorts of Praia do Cupe and Muro Alto, as the Hotel Vivá. Finally, for those looking for romance and a more relaxed climate, it is worth betting on the pousadas foot in the sand as the Pousada Xalés de Maracaípe.
  • Best season: September, October and November are great months, already out of the rainy season and still without the movement of high season.
  • How many days: 7 days is the ideal time to make all the tours hit-back from Porto de Galinhas. But in four days, you can really enjoy it.
  • How much does it cost: R $300.00/day per person. Some of the nearby places can be visited in their own car, which can represent an economy for groups above 2 people. The village of Porto de Galinhas is very large and has a great offer of restaurants, cafeterias and pizzerias. Spending on food can vary greatly according to your choices.

4 – Buzios and Lagos region, RJ

The beautiful and reserved Praia da Ferradurinha is one of the best beaches in Buzios, in the Lagos region of Rio de Janeiro
Since the first time I visited Arraial do Cabo and Búzios, I was in love with these two destinations. Especially for the ease of arriving, from São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

Arraial do Cabo concentrates some of the best beaches in Brazil, such as the Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia or Praia do Farol. The destination is one of the national places known as the Brazilian Caribbean, for the beauty and transparency of its waters.

In summer and on holidays, however, Arraial do Cabo suffers from the excess of tourists. In certain periods, the city that has 30000 inhabitants can reach up to 500,000 visitors. The infrastructure of the city, in these periods, is precarious to meet the demand.

For these and others, although Arraial do Cabo has the most beautiful beaches of the Lakes region, our lodging preference is in Buzios.

The best destinations reconcile not only the natural beauties, but a good infrastructure of lodging, quality of services, good rides and excellent gastronomy. And Búzios has it all. And want to know: Contrary to what everyone imagines, Búzios can be cheaper than Arraial do Cabo.

It is of these sophisticated destinations and at the same time stripped for being on the beach. A delight to stroll along Rua das Pedras or who knows how to explore the B side and the wild beaches of Búzios. It is one of our most beloved destinations in Brazil.
  • Positives: In the region of Rua das Pedras and Orla Bardot, the centre is full of amazing restaurants, high gastronomy. Rua das Pedras is a great walkway to meet everyone who is staying in the city.
  • Negative points: In terms of beach, Búzios loses to neighboring Arraial do Cabo. But you are mistaken who thinks that you can not discover small havens, such as Forno Beach, Praia da Ferradurinha or Azedinha beach.
One curiosity is that the number 1 destination of the TripAdvisor ranking in 2018 is Rio de Janeiro. We also love to visit the marvelous city, but in this list we decided to privilege only destinations other than the state capitals.

In this regard, Curitiba, Florianópolis and São Paulo were also left out, although they are places to travel that we also love. Florianópolis was considered the best city and the best beach destination in Brazil according to the award of travel and tourism.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: Arraial do Cabo and Búzios are easily accessible by car or public transport, even for those traveling from Sao Paulo.
  • Where to stay: For those seeking a romantic option, we recommend the Pousada Pedra da Laguna, which is part of the itineraries of charm. For those looking for a good value for money, Pousada Bucaneiro is also a good alternative.
  • Best season: March, April, May, September and October are months of average season, with fewer rains and higher probability of catching hot days. March is one of the months when the sea of the region becomes more crystalline. The trick is to avoid the summer. The months of December to February may be the rainest and are certainly the most crowded.
  • How many days: can do on a weekend or extended holiday of 4 days. Those who have more time, enjoy to make a script in the region of Lagos, in this case we recommend to choose two bases in the region.
  • How much does it cost: the average spending in Búzios is R $250.00/day per person. In Arraial do Cabo, this average can rise to R $280,00/day. The explanation is that, despite being a sophisticated destination, Búzios has a higher offer of lodgings than in Arraial do Cabo. In addition to lower prices, the cost benefit ratio of Buzios is better.
Note: for calculating the average spending, we do not consider transportation to the site. Lodging, tours and food are some of the expenses considered.

5 – Fernando de Noronha

Sancho Bay has already been considered the best beach in the world: one of the reasons to know Fernando de Noronha

Is it isolated and far from arriving? For those who are not from Recife or Natal, you must take two flights to reach the archipelago. Is it expensive? No denying, prices in Noronha are well pulled, both for lodging and for food, fuel and sightseeing. The traveler still needs to collect preservation fees.

But how to resist the natural charms of Noronha? This is where Sancho Bay is located, already considered by the TripAdvisor public as the most beautiful beach in the world (in 2018 she was in second position). Fernando de Noronha was placed in the first place of the survey of the 10 dream destinations of Brazil, held by Skyscanner website.

In addition to the notorious natural beauties, everyone who travels to Noronha enters the relax atmosphere of the place. The island is completely safe and the cars give way to the transport made by buggy. Because it is an island isolated from the continent, the concept of paradisiacal place gains its most perfect translation.
  • Positive points: Visiting Fernando de Noronha is sure to meet some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. And we're not talking about one or two, it's a lot of unspeakable beaches.
  • Negative points: The price remains the biggest obstacle and many people argue that it is cheaper to travel abroad than to Noronha. If compared to other national destinations, really the price of the trip to Noronha is above average.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: the only way to get to Fernando de Noronha is by plane. The flights leave from Natal and Recife, by Azul and Gol.
  • Where to stay: There are several neighborhoods that are close to the Centrinho de Noronha (take as reference the Flamboyant square or the Emporium São Miguel). You can choose more sophisticated hotels, inns and even local family homes.
  • Best season: August, September and October are good months, out of high season and with the sea quieter and with good visibility for diving. It's hot all year long, but from April to July it's the rainest months. In summer the sea is more stirred, because of the swell, which can disrupt the activities of snorkeling.
  • How many days: 4 whole days is the minimum required, but it is so difficult to go to Fernando de Noronha that our recommendation is to stay 7 days there.
  • How much does it cost: average of R $600,00/day per person. Check out our post with an average spending and travel budget in Noronha.
Note: Average spending includes lodging, tours, food, transportation and other miscellaneous expenses.

6 – Gramado, Serra Gaúcha

Also known as Brazilian Switzerland, Gramado has the best of some European destinations
A lot of people traveling to Gramado feel a little bit in Europe. And we are not only talking about the influence of German architecture or Italian gastronomy, which predominate in the city. The way Gramado has prepared for tourism and how it welcomes visitors, is worthy of the best destinations in Europe.

On account of this, Gramado almost always appears at the top of the best destinations in Brazil. It was first in 2015 at TripAdvisor's Travelers ' Choice, but ended up losing a position from 2016. In 2018, it is held in second position. In the prize of travel and tourism, was considered the best winter destination in Brazil.

Our last trip was on 2018, during the Christmas light lawn. The event is one of the most crowded in the city calendar. For a few days there, everyone really comes to believe in the magic of Christmas, one of the slogans of the event. Do not miss the spectacle of light lighting, which takes place at the Palais de Festivals. It is daily and free, but it is good to arrive early because it usually crowded.

Outside of Christmas, the city is full of enchanting sights such as the Mini Mundo, the Gramado Zoo, the Black Lake and the agrotourism itineraries. In about 20 minutes it is possible to arrive in Canela, a neighboring city that disputes with Gramado the preference among the destinations in the Serra Gaúcha.
  • Positive points: The place is perfect for a romantic trip, but mainly gastronomic, due to the wide and good offer of delicious restaurants. There are many tourist attractions and people treat visitors always with a lot of attention and kindness.
  • Negative points: Although it is worthwhile for the excellent quality of services, the average spending requires a greater travel budget.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: Access is easy, from Porto Alegre. There are just over 2 hours of road. Public transport and vans leave directly from the airport.
  • Where to stay: The Wood House Mountain Hotel is one of the best options in the centre of Gramado. Open in 2018, the décor, facilities and services are exquisite.
  • Best season: October, November and August. The city can be visited throughout the year and has several events distributed by the calendar, such as the Natal Luz (October to January) or the Gramado film Festival (in August).
  • How many days: 4 days is the minimum time, but there is so much to do in Gramado and Canela that 7 days is the ideal duration for this trip.
  • How much does it cost: R $450,00/day per person. In addition to the above average stays, the city also requires a greater investment in food and sightseeing.

7 – Chapada dos Veadeiros

Get ready to meet some of the most beautiful waterfalls you have ever seen, in Chapada dos Veadeiros
Get ready to meet some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Brazil. The Chapada dos Veadeiros is another destination that we have visited and revisited, and we always love to return. It is one of the places to travel preferred by those who enjoy ecotourism and contact with nature.

One reason to return is that the national park has three possible bases, which allow different experiences in the destination. The most famous is the esoteric city of Alto Paraiso de Goiás, but São Jorge and Cavalcante are also other dear destinations for those who already know the place well.

Among the highlights, the Cachoeira de Santa Bárbara usually pumping on social networks because of the turquoise blue color of its waters. But there are many other beautiful waterfalls, such as Alméblind, the cataract of the Couros and the Macaquinhos complex.

  • Positives: As access to most waterfalls is not so easy (trails are necessary), the destination still has preserved attractions. The atmosphere stripped of the place brings a public passionate about ecotourism.
  • Negative points: The difficulty of access can be an impediment. Many people prefer Pirenópolis (also in the state of Goiás) precisely because of the ease of reaching the waterfalls.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: Despite the easy access by public transport, driving is the best option. Chapada dos Veadeiros requires its own vehicle to travel to the waterfalls, which are distant from each other. On site It is possible to find services of guides, but most of them do not have car or snake much more expensive to take tourists who travel without car.
  • Where to stay: Alto Paraiso is the most structured and best priced option. São Jorge is more rustic and usually charges more expensive in the lodgings. Cavalcante is also an option, which is closest to Santa Barbara Waterfall.
  • Best season: June, July, August and September. In summer, it can rain a lot and the volume of the waterfalls is high. Some falls are closed to the bath, for security reasons. From May to September is the period of drought, and therefore, when the region becomes more accessible and inviting.
  • How many days: 7 days is the ideal time to explore the region. You can divide the accommodation between Alto Paraiso, Cavalcante or São Jorge (for 7 days, we recommend choosing only two bases).
  • How much does it cost: R $250.00/day per person. Most tours can be done without a guide, but you have to go with your own car. The lodging and meals have very varied prices.

8 – Morro de São Paulo, Bahia

Tinharé Island, where Morro de São Paulo is located, one of the best destinations in Bahia
Access is not easy and there are no cars circulating there. Everything is done by foot or by boat (a few tours circulate by the island of truck). Morro de Sao Paulo is thus a destination for those who want to rest from the cars and feel the sand in the feet.

The simplicity reigns in the place, that in the laziness of seeking names for the beaches, nicknamed its beauties of First beach, second Beach, Terceira Praia. The fourth beach is the most beautiful of them, where the sea gains shades of turquoise blue worthy of the Caribbean.

But the best look of Morro de São Paulo is from the top. Climbing the belvedere of the Tirolesa ensures a cinematographic look for the beaches of the island. The brave risk the descent of Tyrolean.

Nearby, is the Ilha de Boipeba, a very unmissable double with Morro de São Paulo. While Morro is of the Agito, Boipeba is of the tranquility and the natural pools, as in Moreré. Another unmissable tour is to the natural pools of Garapuá.
  • Positive points: The isolation of the island, combined with an excellent infrastructure of inns and restaurants, ensures a perfect trip to disconnect from day to day.
  • Negative points: To arrive you must face a long boat transfer in open sea. It's a hell of a trip. Alternatively, there is a land transfer that takes a lot longer.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: Access is only by boat, either through Salvador (via open sea, better to take a remedy before embarking) or via Valencia (sea and land transfer).
  • Where to stay: There are numerous options on the island. The first and second beach are the busiest places, while the third and fourth beach are ideal for those who prefer tranquility and inns standing in the sand.
  • Best season: Summer is a guarantee of good weather and no rains. In the second semester, starting in August, it is quieter and the rainy season has passed.
  • How many days: in 4 days you can enjoy the island well. Who has 7 days must assemble a script with Morro de SP and Boipeba, two neighboring destinations that super combine.
  • How much does it cost: R $300.00/day per person. For the great lodging offer, it is a cheaper destination. The beaches are easy to reach and for those who want to save, can dispense the tours to Garapuá and Boipeba.

9 – Pipa, Rio Grande do Norte

The look of the top of the Chapadão to Praia do Amor, in Praia da Pipa, is one of the postcards of Rio Grande do Norte
The coastline of Rio Grande do Norte assumed, in 2018, the leadership among the most accessed posts in the travel Cine. We visited the state in February 2018 and set up a travel itinerary with bases in Natal, Pipa and São Miguel do Gostoso.

Although Natal is a great base for exploring the coast of the state, our tip is to stay at Pipa Beach. For us, the choice of a good travel destination goes through criteria such as infrastructure, sightseeing, lodging, nightlife and, like leaving out, the natural beauties. Pipa, which is part of the municipality of Tibaú do Sul, is a charm and has excellence in all these factors.

Among the tours, some of the best beaches in Brazil are there, like Praia do Amor, Praia do Madeiro and Dolphin Bay (fifth position in the ranking of the best beaches of the TripAdvisor site). The ATV tour or Yellow Camaro is an excellent option, and follows the coastline to Barra de Cunhaú, already in the municipality of Canguaretama. The sunset at Guaraíras Lagoon is the end of the perfect day in the region.
  • Positives: The coastline of Rio Grande do Norte is cinematographic, with cliffs and the sea of intense colors. The access to the beaches is very easy and the infrastructure is great.
  • Negative points: A car ride through the village of Pipa is a bit tricky, especially on Avenida dos Golfinhos, where nightlife is concentrated.

Travel tips

  • Directions: There are transfer options from Natal Airport. We rented a car, which also allowed to make some stops on the Rota do Sol, road that travels the south coast of Rio Grande do Norte.
  • Where to stay: We recommend the Bupitanga Hotel, facing the Chapadão de Pipa. One of the best beach hotels we have ever visited, including a private pool in some of the accommodations.
  • Best season: January, February, September, October, November and December are great months. It's hot all year long, but April to July is the rainest months.
  • How many days: in 4 days it is possible to explore Pipa beach and surroundings. If you have 7 days, divide the accommodation by staying a few days in Natal and others in Pipa.
  • How much does it cost: R $300.00/day per person. As the offer of lodgings and restaurants is great, there are options for all pockets. Most beach tents charge minimum consummation, stay tuned.

10 – Lençóis Maranhenses, Maranhão

The lagoons and dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses form one of the most beautiful landscapes in Brazil
In 2018, we organized a script by three Brazilian states: Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará. This script is called the route of emotions and was conceived by Sebrae to encourage tourism in the region.

The name could not be more appropriate. Many people recommend that the best sense to make the route of emotions is to start in Jericoacoara (Ceará), then pass through the Delta do Parnaíba (Piauí) and finish in Lençóis Maranhenses. In this way, the emotions of the script tend to increase gradually.

Several tourist agencies specialize in the route of emotions and their support is essential to visit less accessible destinations of the itinerary. We travel on our own and confess that we find several difficulties to circulate the sights of the route.

Visiting the dunes and lagoons of Lençóis Maranhenses is a spectacle of nature. It is one of the most cinematic and touching experiences that a tourist can live in Brazil. To explore this paradise well, book at least 4 days. But if you want to know the region well, 7 days are ideal to choose different bases in the national park.
  • Positive points: It is a unique place in Brazil and in the world, that every Brazilian needs to know. The dunes and crystalline lagoons formed by rainwater have already become the scene of some national and international films.
  • Negative points: the difficulty of access to some places is an impeditive, but travelers who seek greater convenience can opt for Barreirinhas, super easy to reach.

Travel tips

  • How to get there: from São Luís (from the airport or from hotels in the city), it is possible to find several companies that make the transfer to the base cities. We use and recommend the services of G.I. Conect, a company that works with transfers and tours in Lençóis Maranhenses.
  • Where to stay: Barreirinhas is the city with the best infrastructure, with a wide range of restaurants, tours and lodging (we recommend the Pousada Vilas Boas, right in the center). But the experience in Lençóis Maranhenses can be even more authentic and profound if you choose to stay in Atins or Santo Amaro do Maranhão (we recommend the Pousada Agua Doce).
  • Best season: June, July and September. It is important to visit the region when the lagoons are full after the rainy season, which takes place in the first half. As of September, the ponds are already starting to empty. The place with the most perennial lagoons is Santo Amaro do Maranhão.
  • How many days: for those who want to know the Lençóis Maranhenses altogether, 7 days is the ideal time to explore the region. Divide the base between Barreirinhas, Atins and Santo Amaro do Maranhão (2 nights each). If you have less time, choose only one of these places and take back tours.
  • How much does it cost: R $300.00/day per person. With good prices of inns, Lençóis Maranhenses are not an expensive destination. In addition to lodging and food, consider that each tour costs on average R $80.00. If you want to get around between the bases cities, the transfers are not very cheap and the public transport options are precarious.
